Restoration with Laser Technology

A precise tool for gentle surface cleaning.

Whether in an Egyptian tomb or high up on the Aachen Cathedral, the backpackLASER can be taken almost anywhere.

With a battery life of up to 6 hours, operation is possible even without an electrical outlet.

With a laser power of 30 or 50 watts, the goal is not to remove large areas as quickly as possible, but rather to carefully and safely remove material point by point and layer by layer. Laser restoration allows for precise control.

After a brief introduction, the restorer can immediately begin using the backpackLASER. Handling is straightforward; however, in the field of restoration and conservation, the combination of the right tool, expertise, and a delicate touch is crucial. Typically, various methods are combined, with laser technology being particularly well-suited for hard-to-reach areas.

The backpackLASER is a high-quality entry-level laser at an affordable price. Alternatively, cleanLASER also offers laser systems such as the streamLINE or the lightCASE, available as trolleys with up to 300 watts of laser power. For façade cleaning, larger mobile systems are sometimes used.

Further information on laser light restoration and application examples can be found here.

We would like to thank the Kartäuserhof restorers for their excellent cooperation.
